Western red cedar has become one of the most popular species of timber cladding, both internally and externally. The majority of red cedar is imported from North America, particularly Canada. It is straight grained and largely free of knots.
Canadian Clear Western Red Cedar excels in this application because of its natural qualities of durability, stability and warmth. Chosen always with beauty in mind, Western Red Cedar is particularly suited to its cladding role. With many years of experience in delivering Western Red Cedar cladding, we offer top grade Cedar to a wide range of applications.
The perfect choice for architects who desire a flawless look combined with excellent durability and dimensional stability. All boards produce a virtually knot-free. The colour variations and straight grain, combined with the species' inherent stability, ensure that this product is a popular choice for a wide range of cladding projects.

Cedar is great for internal and external use.
It is straight grained and largely free of knot.
If left unstained or unvarnished, cedar cladding will eventually turn silvery grey. Alternatively, it can be stained to maintain its rich colours. Stainless steel nails, screws or fixings are strongly recommended.
