Product description
Timberireland.ie aims to exceed your expectations in the supply of decorative and structural wood-based panels.
High quality, fire retardant MDF board (L-MDF FR according EN 622-5) with a hard, fine and smoothly sanded surface. For easy identification, the panel is coloured red in the mass. MDF FR Euro Class B can be used for non-load bearing applications in dry conditions.
This board has low formaldehyde emission (E1 class) and also meets the requirements set by the California Air Resource Board (CARB – phase 2) and EPA (TSCA – Title VI).
MDF FR Euro Class B is hardly flammable (European fire reaction classification B), has a significantly delayed combustion and does not contribute to flame spread. For thickness from 10 to 14,9 mm, MDF FR Euro Class B is B-s2-d0 certified (EN 13501-1). For thickness from 15 to 25 mm, MDF FR Euro Class B is B-s1-d0 certified (EN 13501-1). For the thickness range from 10 to 30 mm, MDF FR Euro Class B also meets Class 1/Class A as set by ASTM E84.
MDF FR Euro Class B consists of 89% renewable materials and is made from 100% recovered wood. Unilin is the first manufacturer worldwide to recycle MDF and uses recycled fibres for the production of new MDF. This product can be PEFC and FSC certified on request, depending on the certification of our stocks.
