Post support iron 9.1 x x 9.1 13 cm with flat base
This 7 x 7 cm screw-on post support stands on a flat base and is suitable for supporting posts and protecting them from rotting. A 6.8 x 6.8 cm or 7 x 7 cm post fits into this post support. Each screw-on post support has 4 drill holes. If you want your posts to be anchored in the ground, you can use our hammer-in post supports.
How do I mount the 9 x 9 cm post support?
You mount the sturdy post support to concrete, masonry or wood using hexagon wood screws. Do not forget to place the rings between the screws and the post support. This protects the post support when screwing. The screw length depends on the type of surface. For a patio deck made of hardwood, our 8 x 30 mm countersunk head screws are suitable. For a concrete surface, we recommend our 8 x 40 mm countersunk head screws in combination with our 8 x 40 mm nylon dowels. Pre-drilling should always be done for concrete, stone or hardwood. For hardwood, use our 6 mm hardwood drill and for stone or concrete, use a masonry drill.
