Product description
Thermo-Alder heat treatment significantly enhances the properties of this wood and opens new possibilities for it. This process involves naturally altering the structure of wood cells by exposing them to supersaturated steam at temperatures up to 190°C. The result is a clean, eco-friendly, solid wood with a broad range of colour tones. Today, this wood is frequently used to create decorative dark accents that highlight the elegance of saunas. Thermally modified timber performs just as well as other species, offering durability and a pleasant aroma.
